Delete Your Account & Data
You can permanently delete your PLOD account and all associated data at any time.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the PLOD app.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion is immediate and permanent — your account cannot be recovered afterwards.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address associated with your account:
Send from your account email with the subject "Account deletion request". We verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials (email, Google, or Apple sign-in)
- Your profile and name
- All synced Strava activity data and running history
- Your challenges, goals, dashboard settings, and seasons
- Any reward passes associated with your account
What we keep
If you previously won a monthly prize draw, that historical draw record is kept for record-keeping but is anonymised — your name and email are removed and replaced with "Deleted User". We may retain limited records where required by law. Nothing retained personally identifies you.
